Let's start with the first families who lived in Irisan. Luna, Mang-os, Oseo, Palgi, Gabol, Pucay, Calatan, Smith, Menecio and others. These are the first families who lived in Irisan.
Irisan used to be a part of Tuba, Benguet under the first mayor of Tuba, Joaquin Smith. Irisan came from the ibaloi term idisan, meaning a wood used to grind something to make it fine.
There was also creek nearby where gold panning was done and a lime quarry (Apugan). The lime quarry was later on bought by the Benguet Consolidated Inc.
Catalino Pablo, the father of Virginia Luna, who found working in lime koln as a carpenter. His daughter Virginia was married to Lopez Oseo, a local Ibaloi with one son buut then they separated. Later, she married Felix Luna and bore 9 children, 1 adopt and 1 stepsister.

Igorots claims known for 211 titles. Eventually these titled land were sold to people from Manila. As time passed by, Irisan was develop and brought drastic changes to Irisan.
So today, the Irisan now is mixed by the other regions like the people of Manila and other regions. We also have foreigners like Koreans and Americans.
